Event Description : "Krishna Rang:True Forms of Devotion" flute recital by Pt. Ajay Prasanna

Rejoice the various moods of Krishna- the Deity of 16 arts forms and Krishna bhakti through ancient art forms of classical music and dance. The Hindustani classical ragas will be played on Krishna's flute by Pt. Ajay Shankar Prasanna which transcends the listeners to a world of ecstasy.

This 4th of September join us at DLF Place, Saket to celebrate the spirit, colors and the divine ambiance of Holi through a fusion performance of Hindustani classical music. It reaches a level where various colors of devotion are spread around leading to a soulful experience and spiritual fulfillment!

About Pt. Ajay Prasanna : Ajay Prasanna, one of the leading International flautists in India, was born in a family of classical musicians. He received his training in flute from his Guru and father, Pandit Bholanath Prasanna, from the Banaras Gharana, who is also the Guru of Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia. 

A top grade artist at the All India Radio, Ajay Prasanna is a rare combination of innovator and traditionalist. He has significantly expended the expressive possibilities of north Indian classical flute through his masterful blowing technique. Ajay is well known for his incredible melody, fluency, maturity and dexterity in his performance in both the gayaki and tantrakari styles of playing. 

His great mastery over the extended techniques of flute playing has led him to the world's best performances and the formation of his own fusion band, 'Secret Weapon'. His distinctive melodic style of flute playing is elegant and charming creating an ambience of warmth and divinity. Today, Ajay Prasanna's outstanding talent has led him to become a Grammy Award Nominee for his remarkable musical contribution to the album, 'Spring', which has been nominated for Best Music Album.
