The affecting demise of Sunil Das on 10 August 2015, created a void within the close knit of the perennial artists’ group in India. Each of the 25 artists have contributed two works in bronze with which an exhibition is going to be held at the Delhi chapter of Aakriti Gallery in the month of September 2015. Every work reflects the personal concept and formal attitude of the artist. Most of the works are based on human faces revealing the temporal turmoil. Some works are based on different subjects like fantasy oriented grotesqueness, landscape and tantrik imagery. The exhibition will reveal the multiple expressions of our contemporary sculpture.
