Event Description : "Dreamers’ Doers" an exhibition of artworks by the children of Katha Lab School - Govindpuri, Delhi’s largest slum.

About the Artist: The children at Katha Lab School are encouraged to explore and express their dreams. 

About the Organization: Started in 1988 by Geeta Dharamajan with a magazine for children from the underserved communities, Katha’s work spans the literacy to literature continuum. 
Katha is a grassroots Indian non-profit organization that for the last 25 years has been empowering children to become agents of change through quality education, teacher training, and world-class book publishing.  Katha works in the slums of New Delhi to ensure that children from underprivileged backgrounds are able to receive the quality of education needed to build a better future for themselves and their families. We have an innovative, proven education model that makes learning a fun, creative experience for children and teachers alike. Katha’s programmes currently reach over 80,000 underserved children across more than 100 schools and 151 slum communities across Delhi each year.  Katha has embarked on a major scale up plan to spread its innovative model to reach children across India and abroad.   For more details, please refer www.katha.org
