Event Description : CurtainCall Production presents “The Humor Showdown” brings yet another laughter mania to you. This time it’s Gurgaon's turn to be amused with never ending, rib tickling, jaw cracking laugher with 2 of the most accomplished comics of the comedy circuit. The Humor Showdown in its endeavor to curate some of the best comedy evenings for the NCR belt brings around its edition 2 with APPURV GUPTA and ABIJIT GANGULY. 

Cast:
Appurv Gupta – From engineering to stand up comedy, the journey has been fascinating to say the least. Appurv is one of the youngest comedians in India and in the time he has had, he has made quite an impact on the audience. His keep sense of Observations and then weaving his real life experiences into amusing stories is his forte. His disruptive style of delivery takes the jokes to a different level which is then greeted with deafening laughter and thunderous applauses. This “Patli Pin” look alike, is a certain proposition to be savored. Oh and not to forget, people still try to sell him that Hindi Newspaper, whilst he is waiting for the signal to go green at the BRT.

Abijit Ganguly – If you talk about the post-independence era, Abijit Ganguly is certainly one of the most famous bongs apart from the random beauties that West Bengal keeps producing out of habit. Abijit is dashing, suave, decent ( jokes apart ) to say the least, but one thing for sure … He is Hilarious … He Is Funny and He is an entertainer to the core. Abijit talks about the various comical facets of his life, why his dad personifies collateral damage, what are his mom’s main goals in life, why are mom-dad like a superhero combination, why his elder brother and his recent marriage had a deep impact on his outlook towards life, his schooling, his job choices, his sweet Gujrati girlfriend and their relationship of SEVEN years (which has lasted so long because he loves her so much, also because she provides a lot of stand-up content, but mainly love and all). Come for this anecdotal-style comedy riddled with nostalgia and hilarity

Opening Act by – Kishore Dayani - The boy (read 30+) from Ranchi, and he hasn’t met Dhoni. He has a lovely relation with his wife and his never going back mother in law. His Salman Khan-like dog also has quite an impact on his jokes. His dead pan style of comedy, delivered with a straight face, keep you amazed and laughing without much ado. Watch him talk about his endeavors with his family and people around him which are guaranteed to leave you in splits.
