The Ska Vengers | The Jass B’stards | Delhi Sulatanate
This last couple of months has seen some amazing poetry readings, creative pow wows, art exhibitions, musical showcases, literary evenings and just about everything under the figurative creative sun at antiSOCIAL. Season 2.0 promises to be no different with some extra bang thrown in for good measure.
After an awesome Season 1 with some ballin' artists and events, we took a short break... #antiSOCIALhkv is #BackInAction for Season 2 with a super cracker of a relaunch gig! The Ska Vengers, The Jass B’stards and Delhi Sultanate will be our musical hosts for the night this Thursday and kickstarting the season.
The Ska Vengers will open the night. Their first concert in the capital this year; The Ska Vengers are known to blend ‘ska’ rhythms with elements of dub, punk, jazz and rap to come up with a form of music that is refreshingly different, energetic and highly danceable. Followed by a live performance by The Jass B*stards who have been known in the capital city for their compelling and provocative jazz and psychedelic performances. Delhi Sultanate will close the night with a Bass foundation Roots vinyl set. BFR sets play a host of Jamaican genres from old school Ska, Rocksteady and Roots to modern dancehall and the occasional bass tune.
