Event Description : CurtainCall Productions and Vishesh Arora present "Aisi Taisi Democracy" Stand-Up & Musical Comedy with Sanjay Rajoura, Varun Grover feat. Rahul Ram. 

We are a nation of idiosyncrasies and permanent hysteria. Our reaction to a cricketer retiring is more vocal than the science community's reaction to the discovery of the God particle. We are travelling the world, but not without our prejudices andtheplaas. In this crazy transition phase from the third world to the second, we are the proverbialgawaachi gaay(lost cow) of the times.

To make sense of these confusing times where a fairness cream is cheaper than water and Rahul Dravid retired before L. K. Advani, Sanjay Rajoura and Varun Grover come together for the first time with their outrageously irreverent comedy special,Aisi Taisi Democracy.

Expect pointed barbs at all that is weird, funny, surreal, and downright doped-out in our Bharat-varsh. Politically incorrect, full of personal stories of growing up in the pre-and-post liberalization era and a no-holds-barred look at the idea of India - Rajoura and Grover, along with Indian Ocean's frontman, Rahul Ram, come together to make you laugh non-stop.

Sanjay Rajoura became a comedian after he grew tired of being a US-returned techie and a 'Dilli Jaatt' - two identities his friends from these brackets are most proud of. His comedy is derived from an unease with urban development and the collective failure of the human race.

Varun Grover is a writer, lyricist and stand-up comic. He has written songs for Anurag Kashyap'sGangs of Wasseypurand Rajat Kapoor'sAnkhon Dekhi.

Rahul Ram is the lead guitarist and singer for India's premier rock band, Indian Ocean. His absurd sense of humour and quirky tales from years of being on the road with his band are his best-kept secrets.
