Ministry of Culture, Government of India cordially invites you to the premier of the Film "Celebrating Habitat – The Real, The Virtual and The Imaginary" based on the retrospective exhibition of Shri Balkrishna Doshi, earlier held at NGMA, New Delhi


National Gallery of Modern Art, organised the retrospective exhibition of the distinguished architect, Shri B.V. Doshi, titled, Celebrating Habitat - The Real, The Virtual & The Imaginary, curated by Khushnu Panthaki Hoof from 9th October - 7th December, 2014. Being the second exhibition in a series where architecture was acclaimed as a creative discipline, NGMA continues its endeavour to celebrate architecture as an artistic expression. Mapping six decades of the Balkrishna Doshi's oeuvre, this exhibition Showcased an exhaustive selection of a Series of spatial constructions in large and small spaces in diverse modes of visual expressions. The other aspect which was explored in this retrospective exhibition was the attention garnered towards the young enthusiasts and students.
