Event Description : Select CITYWALK Invites you to “Kargil Diwas”
KARGIL “Lest We Forget” A grateful nation salutes the heroes of Kargil
Select CITYWALK is one of the premier shopping centres in the capital with an astute sense of patriotism and belongingness to the Armed Forces of India. The Centre has been commemorating KARGIL DIWAS every year on 26th of July so that , we as Indians, do not forget the bravado, courage and supreme sacrifices made by our gallant soldiers in defending the icy heights of Kargil in 1999. The nation will remain indebted to these brave sons forever. This year moving forward, we wish to celebrate Kargil Diwas "Kargil...Lest We Forget" to commemorate and remember the supreme sacrifice of all courageous sons who stood tall between the intruders and the rest of the nation, so that others may live peacefully. It is our humble effort to honour as many families as we can of these great martyrs.
It is a matter of great pride and privilege for us at Select CITYWALK to celebrate the kargil diwas every year with befitting aplomb and solemnity. . The occasion is specially celebrated to pay our grateful homage to the Kargil heroes who fought the enemy on the icy heights in 1999. We also take this opportunity to send our grateful thanks to all those who are guarding our borders in extreme adverse conditions, spending sleepless nights so that we can all sleep safely in our homes in peace. The nation is forever indebted to these great sons of India. Last, but not the least,  we want to give them our assurance that the whole nation is with our soldiers , every time and everywhere with heart, mind and soul.” Mr. Arjun Sharma Director, Select CITYWALK
