ESSENTIALS TO WEAR & CARRY:
1- All participants should carry something to cover their heads, so be it dupattas, scarves, handkerchiefs etc for the entry to Dargah. 
2- Dress conservatively to respect religious sentiments of the people in the area
2- Do wear a good pair of walking shoes or flip-flops.
3- A bottle of drinking water
NOTE: Our discussion will be done in Zabaan-e-Dilli (Urdu/Hindi ONLY)

Event Description : Delhi Karavan presents “Zafar Mahal” History Walk. 
In the small alleys of Mehrauli after crossing the busy markets, shopsold havelis, there still stands the last palace built & used by Mughal Emperors Akbar Shah & Bahadur Shah. This is the place where Zafar had wished to buried but unfortunately this could not fulfilled as he was forced to leave “Hindostaan”, Locals say that “Bahadur Shah” still lives here. We will explore this palace which has almost lost its beauty.

The love story of Jahangir and Nur Jahan may move you to tears, Shahjahan left Taj Mahal as a declaration of his love for Mumtaz Mahal... but there are love stories buried in the pages of History that are even more poignant and heart moving! One such love story is that of Mirza Gulaam Fakhruddin ,son of Bahadurshah Zafar, and Shaukat Mahal. Someone in heaven above made them meet and fall in love but someone on earth conspired to separate them forever...!!!
