Event Description : "The History of Japan-India Exchange" Photo Panel Exhibition.
Japan and India have been enjoying friendly relations for many years.
This photo panel exhibition includes carefully selected photos that relate the history of cultural exchange between Japan and India from the Meiji Period (1868-1912) to modern times. These photo panels are provided by The Japan-India Association established in 1903.  The year 2012 was marked as the 60th anniversary of the diplomatic relations of Japan and India. The exhibition contain not only photographs from historical moments after Meiji Era , but also ones held in recent years.
It is hoped that this exhibition will help to refresh the understanding of Japan-India relations.
