Event Description : Dhruv Arts & Cultural Society presents "I'm Just a Woman" Hinglish Play.
The Play “I’m Just a Woman” is a black humor….The play is about every women’s desire who wants to live a free life, enjoy the beautiful things of the world given by nature, within the limits of the society or her home. See how she encounters the trails and travails and survives in this man’s dominated world. How our gentle men look, think and try to Encash the situation that a woman undergoes at times of troubles. The play reveals the problems faced by a single mother in bringing up her children while carrying herself with dignity. How her inner strength and belief in God delivers her from the evil forces of the society. Though in return hardly receives any respite, as in numerous cases God himself is deaf and dumb. But she is true to herself with purity in heart and in the sight of God and remains unblemished till her last breath. What God has in store for people like these is irrelevant for there are only conceptions to what no mankind has ever known or seen. It is that secret which is kept with God and revealed only after death. It’s all about philosophy and theology, a relation between God and human being, the communion ship you on a personal level share with him. The play is supported by some heart touching music & songs of Wanda Jackson and Jim Reeves.
