Event Description : Building a Healthy India Lecture Tour.

Join the Physicians Committee for an educational and inspirational lecture where attendees will learn how a healthful diet can help to:
 Manage, prevent, and even reverse diabetes
 Maintain long-term weight control

 Lower cholesterol and blood pressure

WHO : Zeeshan Ali, Ph.D., Kickstart India program specialist for the Physicians Committee, will lead all six lectures. Pramod Tripathi, M.B.B.S., founder of India’s Freedom from Diabetes Clinic, will join the lectures in Delhi and Chennai. Nandita Shah, L.C.E.H., founder and director of the nonprofit SHARAN—an organization that focuses on natural health and building a diabetes-free India—will join the tour in Mumbai and Chennai.

Founded in 1985, the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine is a nonprofit health organization that promotes preventive medicine, conducts clinical research, and encourages higher standards for ethics and effectiveness in research.
