Event Description : “The Widows of Thursdays” spanish film screening as part of Argentinian Film Series.

Synopsis: In the gated community of Altos de la Cascada, idyllic life goes on as usual, from imitation mansions houses with large gardens and heated swimming pools. Separated from reality by walls and cameras that watch everything, the country of Altos is a perfect bubble in a country bristling with thorns.
One morning comes a gruesome discovery: three corpses are floating in a pool. The finding is disturbing to this closed community, which is quick to label and define accident as a tragedy and misfortune. But the review of recent activities of the victims casts doubt on the accidental nature of these deaths..
