Event Description : “From Where I See” Book Reading Session and Panel Discussion

Dr. Ajay Yadav's debut novel “From Where I See” is a gripping murder thriller that offers a powerful commentary on the nature of religious conflict and politicization of religion by religio-political propagators. It presents an unbiased, mythology-free history of five major religions and explores why people in this world remain in perpetual tension and conflict
Dr. Yadav will conduct the book reading session in the august presence of Sh. Debabrara Biswas, MP and General Secy, All India Forward Bloc, and Sh. Umesh Aggarwal, Gurgaon MLA

The book-reading session will be followed by a panel discussion on “From Where I See” and the critical issues it raises about human nature, religion and society

About “From Where I See”
Ajay meets his childhood friend Shruti on a social networking site. He finds her struggling with intrapersonal, interpersonal, inter-social and inter-religious conflicts which eventually claim her life. The Police could solve that particular case but who will prevent hundreds of Shrutis from getting killed? How long will we try to investigate “who” kills, when it is more important is to find out “what” kills. We need to cure the disease, not merely the symptoms. “From Where I See” is an effort of the author to find the root cause of these conflicts and possible solutions. It explores today’s burning questions like "Why is it so easy in one religion to recruit volunteers to blow themselves up and others? Does religion divide or unite? Have the immature and wrong interpretations of female emancipation led to 13-fold jump in divorce rates in the last 5 years in India? It’s not merely a book; it’s the roadmap of a revolution, a journey towards a Utopian world.
