About Art Carnival
Delhi Collage of Art, one of India’s premier Art School inaugurated its 13th consecutive Annual Exhibition with its awe inspiring paintings covering most of the three sections of Lalit Kala Akademi, Rabindra Bhavan. On display were paintings by over 125 artists, who are students of first, second, third and final year of Delhi Collage of Art. The paintings are an interesting mix of themes that are representative of the myriads backgrounds that the artists hail from.
From the wives of the ambassadors of foreign diplomats, to the youth seeking a career in art as also corporate honchos for whom art is a form of self-expression; the students of this art school are truly an eclectic bunch of people.
