The play "THE FLICK"​ by Annie Baker​ revolves around the lives of Sam, Avery, and Rose, workers at The Flick, a shabby, old, movie theatre in Massachusetts.The simple, unadorned dialogue and the monotony of their routine is overshadowed by the passion for film and for art. At its heart, The flick is a search for authenticity and meaning, which are epitomized by the near extinct 35 millimeter film projector.
