Event Description : "Divine Innocence" An Exhibition of recent paintings by Artist Krishna Mahawer from Rajasthan, India.
Krishna Mahawar is a visual artist and Asst. Professor of Fine Art at Rajasthan University, Jaipur. she has been in teaching profession since 2004. She is an actively exhibiting artist whose recent works are heavily influenced by 21st-century philosophy, particularly the relationship between society, art and philosophy. Her research and writing focuses on contemporary art with a particular interest in bringing contemporary time into more meaningful conversation and understanding
Krishna Mahawar has received Guru Shishya Scholership from SPIC MACAY to work with eminent Indian artist Anjolie Ela Menon and a receiver of prestigious STATE AWARD in painting from Rajasthan Lalit Kala Academy. She has participated in various national exhibitions, workshops and art camps. She has organised a number of solo exhibitions around the country. Krishna is involving in academics too as she has published many articles and research papers and recently wrote a book on New Art Trends
