Event Description : The Nehru Memorial Museum and Library cordially invites you to a Public Lecture on ‘Comrades at the Crossroads: Jawaharlal and Subhas’ by Prof. Rudrangshu Mukherjee, Ashoka University, Sonepat.

Abstract:
This lecture explores the unusual and short-lived friendship between Jawaharlal Nehru and Subhas Chandra Bose and how this friendship unravelled over time.

Speaker: 
Prof. Rudrangshu Mukherjee is founder Vice-Chancellor and Professor of history at Ashoka University. His latest book is Nehru and Bose: Parallel Lives, (2014).  His previous works include Awadh in Revolt (2002), andA Century of Trust: The story of Tata Steel (2008).
