Event Description : "Thread It" A Textile Art Workshop by well-known Textile Artist and Designer Gopika Nath.

A Fulbright Scholar and graduate of Central St. Martins School of Art, U.K., Gopika Nath has charted an illustrious career in art and design. She has taught as Guest Faculty at NIFT for two decades, conducted workshops at IHC, KNMA and NIFT, among others. She has also conducted art classes for children aged 5-12 years in Gurgaon.

It promises to be a fun-filled afternoon of fabric and thread magic and we would love to have you join us. Gopika will introduce the participants to the language of thread and fabric as art, through a slide presentation. They will explore the medium through exercises and demonstrations and would also make a completed art work during the session.
