Event Details : Rajeev Raj Gupta presents “Luv Kush...the twin warrior of Ram & Sita” Hindi Play. 
Upon killing Ravana and returning to Ayodhya, Shri Ram was crowned as King of Ayodhya by Sage Vashistha. As Mata Sita was captivated by Ravana and had to stay in Lanka for around 10 months in Lanka, citizens of Ayodhya didn’t want to accept her as their queen. When Shri Ram became aware of this, he disowned Mata Sita and Lakshman left her in the forest. Rishi Valmiki took Sita to his ashram where she delivered twins brothers - Lav and Kush. Rishi Valmiki taught them shastras and the art of using weapons. Meanwhile Shri Ram initiated  Ashwamedh Yagna, a traditional ritual. For successful completion and benefits of the yagna, Shri Ram sent out the finest horse all over the land and whoever caught hold of the horse had to fight a battle with the king. Shri Ram’s beautiful stallion trotted into Rishi Valmiki’s ashram. Kush and Lav caught hold of the horse and tied to him to a tree. At the same time, they were confronted by Shri Ram’s brothers and Lord Hanuman. After a heated argument, Luv and Kush shot an arrow on Shatrughna and subsequently on Laxman and Bharat and due to the shots they entered a spell of deep sleep. They tied Lord Hanuman and he restrained from self defence as he was aware that they were Lord Rama’s son due to his supernatural powers. At the end, Shri Ram comes to fight against his own sons but Rishi Valmiki interfered and asked Lav and Kush to return the stallion to the army. Shri Ram and his army delightfully marched off. Sita disclosed the truth regarding Shri Ram’s relationship with Lav and Kush, which saddened them. Shri Valmiki taught them the Ramayan by heart and sent them to Ayodhya. The brothers strolled in the sacred city singing the Ramayana! Such an extraordinary and amazing phenomenon was witnessed by the citizens and they shared the same with Shri Ram. Shri Ram summoned the two brothers to his palace and requested them to sing the entire Ramayan and was overjoyed to hear them.

How will Ram recognize that they are his sons, will Mata Sita return to Ayodhya, will Ram accepts Sita in his life back... Please come and watch "Luv Kush..."

About the Director : This dramatic play is directed by Mr. Rajeev Raj Gupta, diploma holder from the reputed Shri Ram Center, Mandi House and YMCA, worked for several productions and serials. Have done Film Making course from Institute of Moving Images, Mumbai with excellent grades. He is a well known choreographer also, specially works to give chance to upcoming artists to show their talent. His group Sanskriti Theatre Group is well known group for giving platform to upcoming artists and for the productions based on mythological events and patriotic themes. In the last 15 years (since 1999) group has been performed several ballets like Krishna or Mahabharata…the battle begins, Durga, Shiva, Draupadi, Meera, Bhishma …life of a Legend and Dasha-avtar, Daanveer Karna…the unwanted one now in this segment, group is moving ahead with the new production called Shiv Sati Parvati.
