“In 2013 I was one of 10 photographers asked by Leica Camera to be part of an exhibition that would celebrate 100 years of Leica photography and the grand opening of its new headquarters and factory in Wetzlar, Germany in May 2014. The exhibition was titled “10x10,” as the idea was each of the ten photographers would produce a project of 10 images, creating 100 prints for each year of Leica photography. I chose to do my project in India.
I spent nearly three months in India, travelling around the country with no real agenda—my only goal was to walk and shoot whatever presented itself that I found interesting. More often than not, I found myself attracted to scenes that looked as though they could have taken place decades ago as well as today.
I realized I had much more than just 10 humorous photographs for my Leica project—I had another body of work. The collection of photographs became my second book, “INDIA UNPOSED,” filled with black and white photographs of one of the most colourful countries on earth. Many of those images are in this exhibition, as well as some colour photographs I could not bring myself to convert to black and white."

Craig Semetko is an American photographer living in Los Angeles. Born and raised near Detroit, Michigan, Semetko became a comedy writer and performer after graduating from Northwestern University and discovered photography as another means of storytelling while performing in a show that took him around the world. His comedic background has given him a highly developed sense of the absurd and ironic, resulting in a strong theme of humor throughout his work.
In 2008 Semetko's work was featured with famed photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson at the Open Shutter Gallery in Durango, CO., in an exhibition entitled, “Street Photography: From Classic to Contemporary—Henri Cartier-Bresson and Craig Semetko,” and he's had solo exhibitions at the Leica Galleries in Los Angeles, NYC, Salzburg, Frankfurt, Washington, D.C., and Miami. His photographs have been published worldwide and his work can be found in private collections in Asia, Europe, and the United States.
Semetko will be exhibiting and teaching a Master Class at the Leica Gallery Singapore in April, 2015, and is thrilled about his upcoming show at the Vadehra Art Gallery in Delhi in March.

Exhibition 2 : "As I see it..." a photography exhibition by Naveen Munjal.

"Photography is my passion, always has been, as far back as I can remember…

People from all walks of life; each with their own story, captured for eternity, in an indelible image are central to this passion. I love shooting in the city, getting lost as I walk down streets and alleys looking for the next subject to point my camera towards and capture the moment… When people see me pointing my camera towards them I just smile and sometimes they smile back, others they frown or get angry and I have had things thrown at me!"

Naveen Munjal was born in 1972 in India. He completed his MBA from Huron University in London and began his career as an apprentice with Land Rover in West Midlands, UK. A forward thinking and dynamic entrepreneur, he has worked in various sectors - Automative, Bicycles, BPO, International Markets and Electric Vehicles. He is based out of Delhi and is the Managing Director of Hero Eco Group. Naveen has been a photography enthusiast since his early days, his interest was further ignited after he attended a photography workshop with Jay Maisel in New York in 2013. He is showing his work for the first time.
