Event Description : Gender Studies Group, Delhi University presents "Sexual Harassment of Sexual Minorities" an interactive session.
The session aims to look at the issue of sexual harassment of sexual minorities in Delhi University and the laws pertaining to it. Last year, the University of Delhi scrapped its earlier sexual harassment policy Ordnance XV-D and brought in a new policy on sexual harassment in accordance with the new Women at Workplace Act, 2013. The new law has no provision for harassment of sexual minorities and does not recognise men and trans people as the victims of sexual harassment.
