Event Description : Gati Dance Forum presents Contemporary Dance Theatre with Diniz Sanchez.

The workshop is open to anyone interested in developing body awareness through a series of warm-ups. Participants will have an opportunity to investigate their own movement vocabulary through composition and improvisation exercises, with an emphasis on exploration and enjoyment. There will be a public presentation of the work produced at the end of the two-day workshop.      


Diniz Sanchez was born in Portugal where he started his dance studies, later moving to France to study at the National Choreographical Center of Montepellier. He started creating his own work in 1995, with a growing interest in the crossing of different disciplines, from dance to theatre, performance, improvisation, video and voice work. Artistic director of Lua Company since it's creation in 2004, he has presented pieces in Portugal, Spain, France and India.
