Event Description : Briatoshs presents India Media Fest.
Media has come out of the four walls of journalism and reporting, and reached the common populace to make them aware of the world happenings. Thus, India Media Fest is a noble initiative by Briatoshs with the objective to let the youth know about the different functionalities of media in fields of social reform, mass education, environmental awareness, new media, social media, journalism and several others. The fest will illuminate the growing influence of media on society and how it can be efficiently pursued as a profession for passionate youth.
The idea behind conducting this fest is not just to shed light on journalism and mass communication as a profession, but also to bridge the gap between what people think and what lies ahead of them. India Media Fest would play an important role in students’ endeavor to build a career in this field.
The fest will bring the country’s leading journalists, eminent media personalities, and students of Journalism and Mass Communication on a single platform to discuss, debate, analyze, and find out various opportunities that the field offers, the challenges ahead, and ways to overcome those challenges successfully.
Further, the fest will offer students a great opportunity to listen to and interact with the leaders in the industry and enrich their knowledge base, which will ultimately help them focus, learn, and build their career in their desired ways.
Media schools, which nurse the ambition of tomorrow’s journalists and media personalities may incorporate the ideas discussed while coaching/mentoring their students in order to make them future-ready. A host of events are also being pipelined to make it a fest worth visiting, which not only informs but also entertains participants.
The two-day fest will showcase a variety of events, including Panel/Forum Discussions, Interactive Sessions, Career Dynamics Info (industry skills readiness), Quiz and Stage Play on the theme of “Journalism in Today’s World” and the like. Eminent members on the panel will help explore various aspects of 21st century media. The panel will also include influential personalities from various fields of Print, Electronic and Social Media, Film, Theater and Advertising and Public Relation. We are inviting students from more than 125 Mass Communication colleges in the Delhi-NCR region.
The Fest, an initiative of Briatoshs in association with Evolve360 Learning Solutions, is conceptualized by Babita Biswas (a renowned Contemporary Warli Folk Artist), designed by Anirudh Bhattacharya (veteran journalist form Toronto) and Sudhin Biswas (a seasoned Management, Technology & Education advisor).
