The unique Women festival is a celebration of womanhood and is being organized in the run up to Women’s Day as a platform for all of the city’s strong, independent women to come and raise their voices together.
The widely acclaimed SHE Festival is back in its 2nd edition and promises to be better, bigger and braver! The festival will highlight the cause of girl child education, women welfare and safety, and various other causes by organizing entertaining but thoughtful activities. Apart from over 70 stalls selling eclectic products put up by women entrepreneurs, there are also exciting self-defence workshops by Krav Maga India, colourful dance and music performances by women, SHE SAYS women rights’ corner, a special Nirbhaya wall which will later be presented to the Delhi CM, 'Agar mai hota toh yeh karta' situational performances, stage play by the Rotaract club, games and funky photo booths among the many amazing attractions at the ‘SHE’ festival.
Travelista India, and NGOs SHE Women Warriors and Shiksha Bharati are organizing this unique festival to inspire the city’s women to come forward and act on issues that matter to them! Through this festival, SHE will also display the works of one of India’s leading NGO Shiksha Bharati which has been working tirelessly for the past 25 years to provide a better future and education to thousands of underprivileged young girls especially from India’s remote areas.
