Event Description : Israeli band – Tiny Fingers live.
Social Spotlight will be bringing the immensely talented Israeli band – Tiny Fingers to Delhi for the first time. Favourites in their home base of Israel and abroad, festivals and performances are definitely their forte. Their live acts are a mind blowing experience of futuristic sounds and visuals, which is why it has led them to be handpicked to open for The Mars Volta, share the stage with Dub Trio, showcase the highly regarded closing party of Brooklyn Vegan during CMJ 2012 in New York and extensively tour Europe and Asia in festivals such as Fusion Festival (Germany), Zhangbei Festival, SOTX (China), Spring Scream Festival (Taiwan), Mighty Sounds (Czech Republic) amongst others.
The band's debut album, "Massive Fingers Spacetrip", was released in 2011 to critical acclaim. It was quickly followed by "Foreign Telegrams" in 2012, written and recorded during one intense session and received even more praise than its predecessor (“One of the top 10 Israeli albums of the year” - Ha’aretz). They have recently released their 4th album, titled “We Are Being Held By The Dispatcher” which has been widely acclaimed.
There’s an influx of untapped musical talent across the country and beyond, waiting to be explored. Hauz Khas Social recognizes that talent and is bringing Tiny Fingers to Delhi for their first ever performance. Known for integrating their messy intensity of rock music with the ecstasy of electronic raves, the band will be unleashing their sounds in the capital on February 8th.
The current Indian music scene is crazier than ever. The audience suddenly has access to different platforms to experience various genres and exploding talent. Social Spotlight gives this new crop of independent musicians like Tiny Fingers that platform to showcase their talent and take it to the next big step in the city.
