Event Description : Gati Dance Forum presents 'The Dialogue with Hölderlin' work-in-progress performance by Artist-in-residence Hyeong-Jun Cho.
This residency has been supported by Inko Centre, Chennai.
The work is about the human and language through a dialogue between the body and the poem of Friedrich Hölderlin, a major German lyric poet, which is recorded by the voice of Bruno Ganz. The performance space is surrounded by the sound of the poem, and is divided as a space for poem and movement through a white physical division.
Hyeong-Jun Cho plays a main role in the group ‘project MOVE [Contemporary dance + Architecture]’ for Choreography & Research and has worked as a dancer in Korea National Contemporary Dance Company from 2014 and also as a member in Doo-dance theater from 2010. He was Korean traditional dance major in University.
