Event Description : Uchaan Artz & FIPA present "Rang Mahal – Expressions of Art" a group art exhibition.
Around 100 works, both paintings and sculptures, of more than 40 Contemporary Artists are participating in this promising art event.
A live painting competition of around 40 artists will be held on 17th and 18th January.
Mr. S.V.Rama Rao (Padamshri), Senior Artist and Art Educator, Mr. Qazi M Raghib, Art Director & Art Critic along with Mr. Anil Kumar Kohli (artist) would be the jury members to honor the event and select the Top 3 contenders for awards.
The award ceremony will be held on 24th January 2015 at 5:00 pm.
At Uchaan, we intend to provide the best of the environment and platform to all the artist fraternity and exhibit their artworks for the public viewing at large, by moving out of the conventional gallery display and bring in the new age innovative open display of artworks in hotels, malls, office complexes, public places etc & bring the artworks to the mass.
Uchaan in pursuance of its social initiative is supporting very talented artist Neelesh Ganesh who is Autistic with high functioning disorder known as Asperger Syndrome. He believes in expressing himself with power of artworks. “Art from the heart” is credo of his life.
Forum of Indian Photographers & Artists is a non Profit making organization promoting all branches of photography, performing arts and film making. Ever since its inception in 1980 FIPA has successfully held several workshops and camps all over India including the recently held art camp at Gold Souk which involved 15 contemporary artists along with a display of 60 works from previous FIPA art camps. FIPA had held the 1st art competition at Panasonic Experience Center in 2013 (Experiences & Expressions) and is supporting 'Rang Mahal '.
