This session is a very special party as we celebrate the Birthday of one of the best people we know, Shawn Khambatta.

S.O.N.R. is a sonic project of Rishi Handa from New Delhi, India. Rishi initiated his electronic journey while living on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Rishi was a part of a collective of DJ’s and artists that organized and performed at events all over the island from nightclubs to bars to Full Moon Gatherings on the star lit beaches of Honolulu.

Since moving back to India in 2005, S.O.N.R. has performed with artists such Atmos, Sensient, Tetrameth, Grouch, Talamasca, Slater, Lish, Olive Tree Dance, Parasense, Hellquist, Loopus In Fabula, Silent B, Sun Project (Marco Menichelli), Ace Ventura, Liquid Sould, Emok, Slytrance, Electrypnose etc.

S.O.N.R. is known for his intuitive ability to captivate the dance floor space. Having DJ'ed for over a decade, S.O.N.R. is a sound to be reckoned with :-). His DJ sets are atmospheric, bass responsive and intensely groovy. Each track represents a chapter in a story culminating into a high energy, elated flight through sound. He strings together a range of diverse styles of Electronica with creative subtlety. A typical S.O.N.R. set begins at a slow pace from relaxing ambient sound-scapes, moves through funky bass-lines and evolving grooves progressing into a flow of transcending sounds.

StarLab (Digital Om Productions)
StarLab is a solo project initiated by Bharat from New Delhi, India.
Training in Indian Classical Music had laid the foundations of Music for Bharat at an early age. Over the years, as a self taught Bass & Guitar player he gathered a lot of musical experience playing and touring the country with his band for over almost 10 years, ultimately discovering hypnotic dance music on the tranquil beaches of Goa, India to which he was hooked

Prolonged exposure to this culture strongly affected his musical persona and as a result StarLab was born.

In a short span of time, he has played at top venues and festivals around India and globally in United States, Portugal, Thailand and Nepal.

Coupled with his own productions and carefully selected tracks his sets can be defined as being deeply atmospheric infused with grooving basslines, mystical, enchanting melodies designed to create a powerful and meaningful dance floor experience.

Bharat has been an integral part of the rapidly progressing Indian Independent Music scene for over a decade now with his past projects featured in iconic magazines such as Rolling Stone, and a nomination for 'Best Bass Player' at the Jack Daniels Indian Rock Awards amongst other accolades.
