Event Description : Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan presents "Job Perspectives In Book Publishing For Students Of The Humanities" Class by Judith Habermas.

As part of the German Week 2015.

In this class Judith Habermas, Foreign Rights Director at DuMont Buchverlag (Cologne, Germany) will give a short overview of job perspectives in book publishing for students of the humanities.

If interested in publishing most students imagine a position in editing, but there are many more departments in publishing that offer exciting possibilities such as press and publicity, foreign rights or sales and marketing. After a short job description about the different work places in book publishing there will be room for questions and discussion.
