A very special dance performance of 5 styles Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Kuchipudi, Yakshagana performed by international artists from UK, Brazil, Sweden and India and stories from 4 countries.
1. Yemanja : The Sea goddess from Brazil,
2. Kumari : The Living goddess from Nepal,
3. Diana : The Roman goddess of Moon and
4. Durga : The Warrior goddess from India.
Yaa Devi is a fascinating dance theatre spectacle that invokes the beauty, compassion and power of the most celebrated female icons around the world in history, folklore and mythology, to an ensemble of the YAA DEVI chants.

About the Director : Devika Rao is a British Citizen of Indian origin. By profession a classical Indian Dance, Theatre Artist, Choreographer, producer & Director and has been working in this sector since last 10 year in the Uk, she has performed more than 1200 times in the last decades. She has received Art Council grants for her work. She was the lead performer as part of the cultural Olympic 2012 project (MANDALA) and also performed for Queen's Baton Relay 2009 (INITIUM).
