Event Description : "Swayamdeepa" Hindi play.

Swayamdeepa revolves around the story of Devyani, from the great epic Mahabharata,  and through her medium reflects upon the status of women in our society. It brings to light the dispassionate and selfish motives of others which make her vulnerable even in today’s times. It depicts how society is still biased against her and refuses to give her due credit for her contributions, accomplishments, and sacrifices. She is still uncertain about her future as decisions of her life are taken by others on her behalf.  Swayamdeepa is her journey to self 
enlightenment.
