Friends, as the temperatures in Delhi go southward, a big community in Delhi begins their hectic preparations…Christmas Dinner lists are being checked, cakes are being baked, gifts are being packed, children are rehearsing madly (the nativity play just can’t go wrong!), carol and choir singers are practicing for the big day…yes, the whiff of Chritsmassy Cakes & the Yuletide spirit is in the air!
DelhiByFoot in association with NGO www.facebook.com/DeePositive.Foundation invite you to join an unique evening of “Sharing, Caring and Giving”...not just financially ( a part of the proceeds of the walk will be donated to the “Santa’s Workshop” for gifting under-privileged children and homeless in Delhi) by joining in this amazing walk but by sparing your time but also !
After a walk exploring the spectacular colonial architecture of some of British Delhi’s oldest churches,observe prayer rituals and church service, enjoying the Christmas lights, listening to traditions of Christmas…you will be a part of the humongous effort of helping the team at “Santa Workshop” www.facebook.com/DeePositive.Foundation to help buy, sort and wrap the 'Santa Tokens of Festive Gratitude' for marginalised sections of our society.
So, come and join the fun with DBF and allow us to share with you our version of the truly festive season of Joy and Giving…rounding off with hot coffee, Christmas cakes and traditional munchies!!!
