Female foeticide is a horrifying practice that shows conservative mentality of those who worship goddess Lakshmi and Durga, but kills the female foetus in womb. Sex determination before birth of a baby is one of the main causes of this perplexing act. We must take some strict actions against such sick minded people who think that girl child is a burden. Our play is based on this theme of ‘Female Foeticide’ where we are trying to show the cruelty of one of the sections of our Indian society that still lives with a mind-set that boy child is superior than girl child. Through our play we will try to spread the message ‘Do Not Kill Female Foetus, Let them Live, Let them Grow’.
