After the successful re-launch of Simmer Down at Barsoom last month, the second edition of the monthly night hosted by the Reggae Rajahs includes a stellar lineup of Simmer Down favourites...

Rudy Roots Selekta will be bringing his trademark digi-dub/ jungle vibes (including some of his new productions) and Pierre fromRealoveution Sound will be representing for all those who love roots, rock, reggae with a heavy dose of the energetic rockers sound.

On this special occasion the folks at Barsoom will be doing a special Jamaican Rum Punch that will be half price before 10 pm and there will also be Jerk Chicken on the menu.

About Simmer Down : 

Simmer Down focuses on the foundation of the reggae sound, touching on genres such as ska, rocksteady, dub, roots, lovers rock and early dancehall.  The night will feature music not only from Jamaica but also from producers and singers from around the world. It will also include special appearances from visiting international artists as they pass through New Delhi.

About Reggae Rajahs :

Reggae Rajahs are India's first reggae sound system. The crew of DJs and MCs are reggae entertainers and promoters based out of New Delhi. Formed in 2009, they have dedicated themselves to spreading the sounds of dub, reggae and dancehall music across India.

Reggae Rajahs have opened for Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion in New Delhi and have also shared the stage with a number of established international artists such as Dub Inc. and Apache Indian.

In 2014, Reggae Rajahs embarked on a world tour starting in South East Asia, followed by their maiden voyage to Jamaica. They then went on to travel to South America as well as making their third appearance on the European summer tour circuit.
