Event Description : "Resurrection- 2" a group exhibition of paintings.

It will be an open initiative initiated by 'Art Insight' an artists' lab, a group of artists who would organize the same exhibition to raise funds for the Jammu and Kashmir flood victims. Fifty percent of the sale amount will be sent to the welfare of these people living in J&K. I hope your co-operation will make it possible to make it dynamic.

We are open to initiate a dialogue where, how the individual reacts to tragedies of other individuals with their own level of consciousness. Individual understanding of the tragic and its relation to human expressions from personal to the realistic, philosophical, poetic and
artistic perspectives will be shared, discussed, acted and performed. Art and its social significance in the transitional period of fatality to resurrection.

The idea of transmigration of the soul was connected in ancient Indians with the idea of aesthetic improvement, a rise to reach the more beautiful. 

Buddhism maintains that after death man becomes another being. Greek tragedy is heroic.   
"Death means not merely annihilation but also perpetuation in a modified form of that which is doomed to extinction in certain form" Hegel

Existentialism regards death as the central problem of philosophy and art. Asserting the independent value of the individual and end up with a paradox.

Inadequate knowledge or ignorance is often the cause of great tragedies. Realization of this broader concept is as complex as the phenomenon of death in itself. Revisiting the multiple perspectives of the tragic essence will lead us to the sphere were we can better realize its
existence within the individual human consciousness with more profundity.

My humble request to all friends, Artists/non artists to participate in this activity where we can share our experience and concern with other contemporaries by saying, showing and doing. Please consider this as an invitation For your confirmation please  send your brief resume along with self passport size image   by just sending the same will be consider as

There isn't any structural plan and there isn't  any specific  list of speakers, It would be great if you can send your brief ,about the nature of your participation in advance. for discussion we have open space in the park very close to the exhibition space, where we can share and hear.
