Event Description : Rays of Wisdom Society presents International Ancient Arts Festival.
Classical and folk dances of ancient cultures are all intrinsically linked to their cultures' healing systems. Studies have shown that people with Alzheimer's disease function more normally if they listen to Mozart and the music even reduces the severity of epileptic seizures. Drama allows the actors and the audience to articulate their emotions safely, be it joy, anger, pain or resentment. International Arts Festival, in its 5th edition, combines all of these healing elements, MUSIC, DANCE, and DRAMA in Antar Yatra & Ramleela.

Schedule :

4th December :

Day 1 will feature a Indo-American Fusion Dance of Broadway style( USA), Contemporary Ballet ( France) & Classical (Odissi) & Folk forms from India and ( Mayurbhanj Chhau, Ghoomar) . Theme : The Importance of Inner Evolution.

5th December :
Day 2 will showcase an Indo- Italian Musical Theatrical Performance with Opera ( Italy ) Yakshagana ( Karnataka)  Purulia Chhau ( West Bengal) Kathak( Delhi) Manipuri( Manipur)and Odissi (Odissa). The theme: Ramayana.
