Event Description : "Photo-Poetry: Nicanor Parra, 100 years old anti-poet" an exhibition of photographs by Ronny Sen & Natasha Hemrajani 
as part of 'Plastics Arts and Architecture'.

Synopsis : Two young Indian photographers, Ronny Sen and Natasha Hemrajani, have submerged in the poetry of Nicanor Parra through their cameras, looking for a visual version of some of the poems (and antipoems) written by the Chilean master. That is how “Test”, “Litany of the little bourgeois”, “The vices of the modern world” or “what is poetry” are presented now through the lenses of this young Indian artists. 

Biographies : 

Natasha Hemrajani: “I’m a photographer working out of Mumbai, India. I was a Photojournalist for 3 years with the national Indian newspaper, The Hindustan Times, and the Photo-Editor of the international fashion Magazine, Grazia. My commissioned work has been published in BBC TopGear, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie-Claire, The Sunday Times UK, Elle, Beautiful People, The Brunch Quarterly, Ideal Homes & Gardens & Better Photography”.

Ronny Sen, Kolkata, India, is an independent photographer who has worked with some of the biggest national and international publications in the world and has won a plethora of awards from organizations like the National Geographic Magazine, Sony World, Shoot nations by the UN, The Forward Thinking Museum, Powerhouse and The Lonely Planet Magazine. Some of his phenomenal work includes his stories titled 'Don't Breathe' and 'A Tale of Three Rooms'.
