Event Description : An exhibition of paintings by Pradip Das and Mallika Das Sutar.

Mallika Das Sutar was born in 1977, Kolkata. She works predominantly in the medium of painting but includes in her large scale installations. Mallika completed [VIVA at the Rabindra Bharati University Kolkata in 2004. She has had solo shows in Karma gallery at Kolkata and many group shows in Gurusaday Museum, Academy of Fine Arts, Gallery La Mare and Birla Academy of art & Culture etc. IVIaIIika participated in 45th and 46th National Exhibition Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi. She received best painting award from Birla Academy of Art & Culture, Paschimbanga Rajya Charukala Parsad and Academy of Fine Arts Kolkata in 2014. She participated in several painting and paper making Workshops in Kolkata. Mallika represents various collections of many art galleries in India. She lives and works in Kolkata.

Pradip Das was born in 1980, Kolkata, lndia. Pradip works predominantly in the medium of painting, Graphics and large scale of installations. He completed BVA from Govt. College of Art & craft and MVA from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. He has had many group shows in India and abroad, which are mentioned as follows : Archiving voice and Expression at Gurusaday museum, Emerging Canvas' lndian art museum, Seoul, Korea, Dreams and Fantasies at Gallery blanchaert, Milan, Italy, Exhibit 320, Delhi, The Viewing Room" Mumbai, Gallery Time and Space Bangalore and many more. He has participated in various important workshops and received award from Aranya, Society of Oriental Arts in Kolkata. Pradip represents many galleries and private collection in India and abroad. Pradip lives and works in Kolkata
