Event Description : "Alamkara: The Beauty of Ornament" a jewellery exhibition on the re-opening of the NGMA Jewellery gallery .

Curated by jewellery historian Dr Usha Balakrishnan, the gallery will house 255 pieces of jewellery including necklaces, bracelets, pendants, bangles, earplugs, needles and girdles, among others, making National Museum the country’s largest repository of jewellery.
