Event Description : Motorcycle Travellers Meet North 2014

After three successful events focused on bringing global and local motorcycle travellers together in Bengaluru and Mumbai, Motorcycle Travellers Meet (MTM) will be holding their 
niche traveller event for NCR as MTM North with Delhi Bikers 2014. 
MTM North with Delhi Bikers 2014 will feature talks by motorcycle travellers such as Nick Sarao, an NRI who rode around the world with his wife on a BMW R1200GS, Maj. Gen. (Ret.) RK Jain, an octogenarian who made two epic overland journeys on his Kinetic Honda scooter and Bill Aitken, a renowned travel writer and author of Riding the Ranges - Travels on my Motorcycle. Besides the talks, the event will feature workshops designed to build confidence in budding motorcycle travellers. Dr Wendy Peters from the UK will run a workshop on Adventure Motorcycle Medicine and Delhi-based traveller, Jay Kannaiyan 
will conduct an off-road ride skills workshop.

About the Organization : Motorcycle Travellers Meet is an organisation that began in 2013 with the vision of nurturing the adventure motorcycling community in India. Its launch event was MTM 2013 and that was followed up by MTM 2014 and miniMTM Mumbai 2014. The events are a get-together of like-minded, passionate motorcycle travellers who share experiences and inspire others to travel and explore the world on a motorcycle. The meets are geared for travellers who belong on a motorcycle and venture out to explore the boundaries of adventure. 

Besides the meets, MTM also produces a journal on adventure motorcycling and is creating a network for motorcycle travellers called MTM GRiD. MTM is associated with Horizons Unlimited, the single-most authoritative adventure travellers forum in the world, The Ted Simon Foundation who encourage travellers to share their stories by producing creative works and India Bike Week, the largest motorcycle festival in Asia. MTM has partnered and allied with many other organisations in India and worldwide and is successfully growing the adventure motorcycling community in India.
