Event Description : Kvintesence Quartet from Czech Republic live.

The Kvintesence Quartet is a professional string quartet based in Prague, Czech Republic. It has been performing and recording for the leading Czech and foreign stars of popular, jazz and world music; the quartet has been organizing its own individual concerts at various Czech platforms and abroad too. The Kvintesence Quartet is regarded as one of the emerging stars at the Czech musical scene.
The Kvintesence Quartet began to perform in the current composition in 2013, however, the idea of the emergence of this kind of music ensemble dates back to long before. Four professional musicians have known each other and playing together in various music groups and orchestras for a long time. As they all have the same feeling for jazz and world music,they decided to put together a new quartet to perform the music of their hearts. The current repertoire of the Kvintesence Quartet includes own compositions of its members as well as works of contemporary authors mainly composed directly for the quartet.
The Kvintesence Quartet has already been signed under many studio and live recordings for leading Czech artists as Aneta Langerová, Dara Rollins, Ewa Farna, Václav NoidBárta, Radůza, Bára Basiková, Zdenka Trvalcová and many others. The quartet also attends in the concert tours of these stars.
