About the Baithak
Shams-ud-din Iltutmish was one of the most powerful Sultan of Slave Dynasty. He has literally risen from ashes, Sold twice as a slave, he gained loyalty and trust because of his intelligence and sagacity. How he rose to become a Sultan from a slave is a dream story!! And once he was
so, he was a prudent and realist king.Delhi Karavan on 2 Nov 14 , shall telltale the saga of this Sultan whose reign was full of difficulties and how he braved them to consolidate the Delhi Sultanate. The Baithak shall give interesting insights on how Turks came in India, how Iltutmish formed the first military monarchy, the torch
of which was carried by Khiljis later, and ofcourse how can we not touch Razia Sultana, the revered daughter of Iltutmish who was chosen by his father to rightly accede the throne.

Needless to say after Sultan Iltutmish got three towers of the Minar completed which now display perfect example of Indo Islamic architecture. This time we call you all to the beautiful Qutub complex, while the sky is washed with early morning sun and chirping of birds.
