Event Description : Brahma Kumaris presents "Being with ONE" awards ceremony & meditation program.

In light of the current speed of change, the instability of many areas of our world, and the suffering of millions, perhaps there is another way we can help.

As spiritual beings we share the same Source of spiritual light and power. When we gently raise our consciousness and connect with the Source, we can serve as instruments of the ONE to bring that healing light, love and power into the world. It is a subtle exercise in which we can serve to empower and strengthen others. in the process we also empower our own resilience to face our daily challenges.

The Spirit of Shanti:  Brahma Kumari Sister Shanti served Delhi from The Brahmakumaris Siri Fort Center for 50 years. Her vision for service was unlimited. She traveled around the world. She inspired countless programs to bring spirituality to thousands up until she left the body on 8th October, 2013.
Sister Shanti was one who experienced God's love throughout her life and wanted everyone to have the same experience.

About the Award :
To honor this beautiful and worthy life, the Brahmakumaris in Delhi have created the "Spirit of Shanti " award to carry on her legacy of serving humanity with a big heart and a deep commitment to peace.

The award will be given annually to three people who have demonstrated a commitment to serving humanity with extraordinary generosity. the service can be in any sector- Medicine, Governance, Business, Civil sector, Arts or Media.
 Candidates may nominate themselves or be nominated by someone else.
