Event Description : This Sunday KLoDs propose to go exploring the forests of JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University). JNU, situated on the southern ridge, is perhaps one of greenest university in the country. Located in the wilderness (not academic certainly) of Aravalis JNU is an exciting place to explore with its diverse flora and fauna. Located in the southern part of New Delhi and spread over an area of about 1000 acres, the campus occupies some of the northernmost reaches of the Aravalli. The JNU ridge is home to a large number of species of tress and plant life. Then there are numerous species of birds and other wildlife such as, Nilgai,  Porcupines, Common Palm Civet, jackals, mongoose, peacocks  as well as a large number of snakes. 

 All this walking through the jungles will make you hungry as a hunter. JNU offers a wide range of cuisine  for the  connoisseur. Take your pick. There is Chinese, Indian,  Mughalai , Continental, etc

Anjor one of our newer klods suggested this walk. He inhabits this wild land  and will lead us to the hot spots of JNU where one can see the best the place has to offer.
