About the Show :

From the heart of the enchanting desert dreamscape of Thar, Dastkar presents the first edition of Desert Crafts 2014 - A vibrant celebration of traditional crafts and the cultural exuberance of Rajasthan and Gujarat.

On display will be an exquisite range of hand woven textiles, contemporary apparel, vibrant home linen and an array of hand-crafted accessories & decorative in clay, wood, metal and leather from both the states.

Dastkar, a national NGO : working with crafts and craftspeople for over three decades, strongly believes in crafts as catalytic tool for social and economic empowerment and earning. Partnering with Delhi Tourism, it is developing the NATURE BAZAAR venue in Andheria Modh as a craft and cultural hub, linking South Delhi and Gurgaon.
