Event Description : 'A Passionate Eye' Textiles, Paintings and Sculptures from the Bharany Donation.
The National Museum, New Delhi, has for the first time since its inception, organised a special exhibition of artefacts by a private donor.
The exhibition showcases a selection of items from a major donation made to National Museum in 1976 by C L Bharany in memory of his father R K Bharany. Supported by some exhibits from the Bharany Collection, it highlights the role played by private collectors in enriching the nation's public museums.
