Event Description : 'Inner Konnect Art 2014' A group show of paintings and graphics by Gaurav Chawla, Ruchi Chadha and Sumita Kathuria. 

Gaurav Chawla : 
My art is my way of expression of various emotions and I express it with Colours. I paint mostly in Acrylic medium. I am inspired by abstraction in the nature everywhere I see around me. I am inclined to create paintings in abstract expressionism. I am fascinated with abstract celebrations of life. I believe my art has its own language to communicate so to explain my art words are not enough. My chosen visual form of expression, which I call an expression through colour, is universal and does not need any particular linguistic explanation. Lines and colors shape a narrative to challenge in my paintingsand enthrall the viewer’s feeling.I compose my thought in lively and vibrant presentation to strike positive spirit.I employ texture and light to communicate to the viewer, not only through the eye but by touch as well.Texture and dimension in my works invite contact and extended viewing. My representation in bright colour combination fills it surrounding with a joyful mood.
I hope my paintings and drawings reach out to you as they do to me and should touch a positive chord inside you. My aim is to inspire emotion within the viewer, to allow him to feel a powerful connection. My art depicts beauty and spiritual connection.
 I have had several solo and group shows in India and overseas and my work is in collection with many in India and abroad.

Ruchi Chadha, is a trained artist ( B. F. A ) from College of Arts , Delhi 1993. Ruchi experimented with a variety of mediums since early 90's , exploring the outer n inner world she consciously chose to follow the preachings of Buddha which helped her evolve as an artist. This can be observed in Zen like serenity in her paintings.Over the years she has worked with different mediums  Oils,Water colors, Poster paints, Charcoal, Pen and Ink , and Acrylics….Painting nature on canvas brings her closer  to God. Meditation and spiritualism energizes her .She has participated in several group shows across  the country and her paintings are held in privatecollections in India and Abroad ." Nature has always been an inspiration for me…..the beauty is limitless….where ever i look find a theme or something out of  it that inspires me…..just love water….and the fluidity of color just takes me to another level. I just can't express my love for nature as it has new facets every day….so you will find the freshness of nature, the richness of colors, serenity, peace and passion in my work. " In this series i have tried to bring out human emotions and bondings in various situations of life.With the rhythmic flow of color i have tried to bring out a poetic symphony of life.

Sumita Kathuria, Works as an Asst. Professor at College of Art, Tilak Marg, Delhi.She has over two decades of experience, working in diverse mediums and variety of subjects. She has developed a unique style of work. Her work depicts the experiences that she gets in her daily life, a perspective to everyday life with her unique insight.
