Event Description : 'Flow in the light' an exhibition of paintings by Eva Maria Pecheno
About the show :
An extra ordinary art show holding on to the theme of spirituality in the form of 26 beautiful art works is what Eva Maria Pecheno will be showcasing from 9th July onward. Her line of investigation has been spiritual developments through paintings & raj yog. Eva has been practicing in India since 7 - 8 years and has came a long way with 15 solo exhibitions and various group art shows.
As an artist Eva had gone through an extraordinary process of: self-respect, letting go and honesty. She has considered that the paintings are the mirrors of the inner and external self. In the particular process of creation: heart is directing the composition and not the mind . She allows her feelings to direct her hands on the canvas. As per the artist if she is unable to concentrate images will not come out to be natural and in that abstract art the unnatural would be quite noticeable. If she goes successful: the sensibility of composition, language of colors and forms all together, are without resistance and in total balance with matter.
As told by Eva “when I paint my connection and concentration with the inner self is such as If I'm in meditation. I require deep silence to take the action.” To create this particular group of paintings, she has been in the expression and energy of Love, Truth and sometimes this is hard to work out because the final battle is going on within her mind. The artist only prefers to follow the feeling which at the beginning can be in contradiction with the mind, and the mind tries to control the matter: paintbrush, colors and effects. Yet, she trust & flow the synchronicity. She flows with the present time and feeling and that is letting the image to appear, as per the feeling and energy.
The viewers will identify themselves with the images. They can resonate to them, because these paintings are part of the original universal energies of Love and Truth.
About the artist :
Eva María is a PhD Fine Art from the University of Barcelona and at the Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya India. Eva has Master in Art and Asia and Pacific from the University of Barcelona rewarded with 3 Honor Qualification, a postgraduate research from the National Autonomic University of México and Certificate of Pedagogic Aptitude from the University Polytechnic of Catalonia. She has been teaching in all variety of students from governmental and private schools. She obtained B.A of Fine Arts in painting specialization with 2 Honor Qualification from the University of Barcelona (UB). Eva studied at the cradle of western art at the Fine Art Faculty University of Athens Greece.
