Event Description : Delhi Karavan presents 'Shaan e Rajputana - Heritage Baithak on Rajasthani Nazakat' at a 155 year- old Haveli.

Delhi Karavan is a team of explorers who organize heritage/food/exploratory walks in and around Delhi on a weekly basis.

On 27th July, Delhi Karavan shall take you to kaleidoscopic journey of the mighty Rajputana. We present before you 'Shaan e Rajputana' where we shall share with our Musafirs the timeless appeal of this state, it's warriors, the fairy tale palaces, rugged fortresses, it's attires, it's food as we paint different strokes through our stories outlining its rustic allure as well as opulence!

The event shall be held in a 155 year old Haveli in the streets of Kucha Patti Ram, Delhi-6. The havelis' vistas shall transport you to the era of opulence, tehzeeb and like a thread one is woven in its tales and colors.

Highlights of the event :

1. Resident historian Asif Khan Dehlvi will weave the relations of Mughals and Rajputs, anecdotes and tales of Rajputana with inputs from Kavya Saxena, a lady born and brought up in interiors of Rajasthan, who carries with her a piece of Rajputana and its culture.

2. A special performance by traditional puppeteers currently based in Kathputhli Colony, originally from Sikar district of Rajasthan.

3. Authentic Food
